Minutes of Twenty-ninth General Body Meeting

Minutes of the 29th Meeting held on 9th January, 2005.

The 29th monthly meeting of senior citizen welfare association was held on 9th January, 2025 in the Senior Citizen Welfare Association Bhavan office at 4:00 PM.

The following agenda was discussed and resolutions were passed in the meeting.

MINUTES OF THE MEETING.

Our 29th General Body Meeting was held at Senior Citizen Bhavan on 9th February 2025 at 4 pm under the Chairmanship of Dr. Jayanth Kumar, President of the association.

1. The General Body Meeting began by welcoming of the members. The presidents invited the executive members and the election officer onto the dais.

2. The President invited all the newly joined members into the Association and all of them introduced themselves to the members of the association. All the existing members of the association welcomed them.

3. The executive committee wished all the members, who were born in the month of January a very happy birthday. B. Ramprasad Garu felicitated them with shawls and offered snacks to all the members.

4. The president thanked all the members for responding immediately, promptly to the small message or a phone call and made the programs very successful organized in the last month, such as; very successful
 The CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) training program,
 The felicitation ceremony of our MLA Gandhi Garu,
 The felicitation ceremony of our Corporator Nagender Yadav Garu,
 The felicitation ceremony of our Colony president Srinivas Goud Garu
 The New Year Celebrations on 1st and 2nd January 2025.

5. Lucky dip draw for the both the chits were held; in the first series V. Prabhakar Garu, and in the second series, Ch. Lakshman Goud Garu won as the lucky winners.

6. The secretary's report was already submitted to the General Body in the last month meeting on 9th December 2025 through audio-visual multimedia with the help of television using the website scwahtc.co.in.
Hence, the Secretary need not re-submit the same report again.
The completed account books duly signed and audited kept ready in front of President.
The financial report was presented by Treasurer V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu in detail to the General Body.
All the members applauded and accepted the financial report.
K. Pandu Rangaiah Garu has handed over the Minutes Book and V. Venu Mohana Rao Garu handed over the account books to the president.

7. All the members of the Executive committee expressed their experiences and thanked all the members for their cooperation, directly and indirectly, over the course of two years.

8. The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar Garu has requested to forgive, for causing pain or causing trouble through words or deeds, knowingly or unknowingly. Some decisions had to be made as part of the duty.

9. Finally, the President placed all the records, minute’s book and account books before the Returning Officer. Handed over the dais to the Election Officer, and announced the dissolution of the Executive Committee. All the executive members got down from the dais and joined with the primary members.

10. The election process has begun as follows under the supervision of the Election Officer:
Completing the nomination process
Scrutiny of nominations
Time given for withdrawals
Only one nomination has been received for each post in the main executive body

The Election Officer announced the results of the unanimously elected main Executive Committee members.
The elected representatives and their positions are given below and the term of the committee is 9th January 2025 to 31 December 2026.

The returning officer invited the elected representatives onto the dais, administered them the oath-Taking and signed the oath-taking declaration.

Important documents, records, minute’s book and account books were handed over to the new presidents by the election officer on the dais itself.

The General Body unanimously approved and passed a resolution on the proposal of the Election Officer to nominate the remaining four executive members by the main Executive Committee.
The General Body of the association has decided to complete this process before the general body meeting to be held in the month of February 2025.

11. With the election officer handing over the dais to the new president, the new executive members said that they will take the association and its programmes forward more effectively by following the advices of the veterans.

12. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by General Secretary V. Narasimha Rao Garu.
